Anyone tried replacing the rear speakers with subs? I replaced the fronts with Alpine components - stock HU. Sounds great but no bottom end. I don't want to lose hatch space in back.

that is a really good idea. i have a sedan so i cant afford to loose space in the trunk because i need the trunk for school and my friend broke his subs when a book smashed the sub because he had his books and subs in the trunk

people have put mid-bass drivers in the rear doors, but you might need more power too.
you could go with a small sub in the jack space (stealth sub) and lose no space.

it's 8".
amp is in the tool tray. jack stores with spare. no rattling.
the enclosure is sold by a forum member and there have been a few group buys since I got mine.
