Also works on the trunk. I remember one time I guess I popped my trunk for some reason because I was about to put something in there (before leaving) but for some reason I decided not to and just put it in the back seat. So I drove 45 - 50 miles until I got to my destination and when I got out of the car I tried to lock my car with my key fob. I push lock once, the doors locked, i pushed it again, and the horn didn't beep. I was kind of baffled and was checking all doors. I then went back to my trunk and low and behold i was able to lift it! So I drove 45 - 50 miles without my trunk latched properly (and it never opened

). So I close the trunk and it beeped. I thought that was a great feature.
