28hp from a CAI...wow...that means the factory airbox design is pretty much garbage or designed primarily for noise reduction...

Hopefully the MSCAI is available if I pickup a speed3.

Do you have the breakdown of how much power you picked up at 6,000 rpm? That would be good to see if you got a little more usable power up to the 6000rpm area. The power falls off so fast a 15 or 20hp improvement at 6k would be nice.

The gain is pretty consistent from 4K-6K... about 25-27 HP. The factory inlet is about the size of a silver dollar. So yes, an intake will provide the biggest bang for your buck.

never got a chance to post this. Not a baseline but near baseline.

COBB SRI, Forge BPV, Grounding Kit and Deleted resonators. The last 3 probably didnt effect anything but some might argue the point so I might as well list them.

Done the same day and location as Design

Recently added Test pipe, boost tube and flex free recirc hose. Hope to put down just a little bit more.

Depending on a lot of factors the computer takes into account, anything from around 15 to spikes of around 18-19 psi.
Air pressure, ambient temp, fuel etc all can make a big difference. On average mine ran about 18 constant with the stock computer.
Cheers!

Time to revive this thread a bit.

I got my car dynoed on a dyno dynamics, I put down 246whp (bone stock). I got the graph in my car, i can post it up tomorrow but when I looked at the graph before, their is just a HP reading no TQ. I guess thats what i get for a 50 dollar dyno at a dyno day lol :(

Currently I added a cp-e sri and inlet, im hoping to get my car dynoed again to see the results.

Took my 2011 MS3 to a local dyno day to get some numbers. . .can't complain too much. I will try and get a digital copy of my graph, don't think my phone can take a clear enough picture of the printout
