[ambiguity]

Ok... So I have been pondering this question for the past couple days now.

I have a hard time getting my Pioneer nav system in the dash cuz there is so many wires. I have already cut right through 2 of them (remote and battery) because of there is no love back there. Yes I do have sharp edges cuz I used the brackets that hold the stock LCD backwards on the deck kit (only way it would fit - works too) I think it's the harness that is making it really difficult to get it in cuz it's stiff as hell. Should I just cut off the harness?

I don't plan on getting rid of the 3 for a while (years from now) and I am sure there will be a better nav system to come out. And it wouldnt be that difficult to put the harness back in - just won't be the same. If I were to sell it - I would just sell it nav and all.

Anyone else make this move and not regret it?

maybe isntead of just cutting it out, try splitting the wrap thats on it- that should make it alot more flexible. or pull out your glovebox and see if you cant pull the harness back in behind it instead of just behind the headunit.
