Well I have been trying to get my new Scosche stereo kit painted and it is becoming a bigger pain than I thought it would be. Apparently people/businesses cannot (don't want) to paint the kit surface.

So I have been digging through this, and other, forums on how to paint plastic as I have no freaking idea on the process. I am still looking for someone to do it for me but if I have to do it myself I must ask: What is the interior color of the Mazda 3? Is it gunmetal or copperish/grey? Is there a paint number or place that I can buy the paint directly?

just buy some sand paper and sand it so fine that the plastic can be painted.

or u can sand it rough, than prime it, sand that shit soft than paint it! thats what i did
i have a glossy black stereo dash right now...looks nice..only shit part is that the clear coat scratches really easy, even when i rub it lightly with a microfibre cloth!
