Dropped the head unit below. Relocated the cig into the glove box for the laptop, custom built shelf in the glove box for the laptop witha 3prong outlet, above the head unit the 7" touch screen LCD monitor. All highs are replaced with rockford 2 way speakers , 2 12" subs powered by the rockford t15004 built behind the seats with matching leather so a total of 8 speaker set up, Hardwired radar, compustar pager alarm w/ remote start.
All done to try and look stock

powered up the music match!

Looks badass ... have any specs on the HU and screen etc? How you wired and all that good stuff. I'd like to throw something like that in my 3 when I have time and I'm curious to what you used and how much it cost and such. Nice job.

looks sweet man. Your next mod should be a Short Shifter :)

Yeah I was going to get one. I wanted to read up how easy it was to put in and how everyone liked them first. Make sure there were no problems

its fairly easy and you don't have to worry about jacking up the car. I got the TWM shifter and the best thing is they send you instructions on how to install it. :)

Nice! How do the TWMs feel? Are they overly tight compared to the stock?

Not overly tight but there much stiffer then the stock short shifter. Less throw and much more accurate and stick locks into gear.

so is that display just hooked up to the laptop in the glovebox? how do you control it?
[/quote]

Yeah basicly, Although I could hook it up to anything.

The wires run from the monitor to the glovebox. A serial cable for the visual and a USB for touch screen.

So basicly I plug the serial in and switch the laptop from monitor 1 to monitor 2 and when I plug in the USB for the touch screen the touch screen program automaticly detects the touch.
And as for the sound its a direct plug in from the laptop to the headunit using a plug in adapter from the aux to the headphone jack.
