Unless mine is different than what they offer now, it will. I have a 3rd gen iPod Photo. I would assume so long as your iPod touch has the same connector as my iPod Photo, then it will work. Maybe others would be able to give a definite answer.

All of the adapters that I have seen will play audio, most require an add-on to charge the itouch/phone though.

ah nvm i want to charge it as well, i know the connectors look the same but internally there wired different.

like i said, for most its just an add on adapter in the plug. Not sure if this one has it or not, but alot do and theyre only like $20 to pick one up. plug n play. and all others ive seen that are reasonably priced you have to do the same thing, so its still a good deal for ya. ill do a quick check

It may be possible, but you already have an audiolink usb... why not order the connector for the ipod?

Nope. This will only work on '04-'08 models..... '08.5+ are out of luck

There is one out for '08.5-'09 models but there hasn't been any word on what's what with the '10 model.

they are completely different units. just switching the connector doesn't do the trick
