So I have a white mazda3 2008 and it's been great run and I realized it covers up lot of scratches dings and such from dark and sunny weather. Probally why many get white. Plus the fact weather can be dark and you use white car helps mood (for me at least in Seattle). Well, I still have my mazda3 after 180k miles and time for new car. I'll be getting a new car and wondering does silver have more shine then white when waxed etc? I was told silver does good job of hiding dents dings etc as well (swirl marks too).

My new car I want a white but its not available in my area . And so far silver is. But if silver pops in the sun more with wax i'm thinking of getting it. Wax on white doesn't have much shine

I know this was posted almost a year ago, but I couldn't help myself in responding.
I had an '06 Mazda3 Sport GT, in Mazda's Sunlight Silver colour. I am not sure if that particular colour of Silver is still on offer, but I will tell you, it did pop!

One thing I love to do, is give my cars a great cleaning and waxing, about twice a year, which would include using a clay bar prior to waxing. If you were to use a clay bar, or already do so, then a good coat of good wax would make even white paint pop out. As for Sunlight Silver, it was a champ when it came to shine!
I hope you are loving whatever colour you chose!
