I guess the dealer meant your car has been on the water, and is in port or something? 2 weeks from japan -> your door is not happening. That reminds me i should call my dealer to see if they have a VIN yet.

Hopefully they meant it's at port, because mine was on the f'ing water for about a month before it got here. Either way I hope you get it soon, I still smile everytime I get in the thing!!

FWIW, I got word 11/20 that my MS3 was on water. I picked it up 12/22. It also sat at the port for 7 days once it arrived. It is well worth the wait, and congrats!

Nice to hear some dealers keep their customers informed, I had to repeatedly call my dealer to get any info out of them. My MS3 arrived in port 12/3 and I still don't have it!!!!! :x :bitching:

My dealer just left a message on my machine tonight. Said the guy I'd been dealing with left the dealership and that my car should be in between the middle and end of January.
I can't wait!!! I'm gonna call the dealership tomorrow to see if i can get a VIN. Soon...but not soon enough

Yeah I am pumped thats for sure mazda baby yeah.... I had to endure an our long conversation from my friend on why I should get a gti instead he is dumb I told him to f**k off ha ha

I'm in the same boat. Ordered mine in late October. Got a call it was in the port early December. Still waiting. Had to call my dealer many times and they still don't know when it is coming in. At this rate, I don't think I want it anymore... hahaha

Ordered on 11/27/2006. From the other posts it sounds like end of January is a bit optimistic. I'll find out more information tomorrow, hopefully

Just got off the phone with the dealership. My car will be in production in the first week of January.
So she probably won't arrive until the middle or end of February (damn, another 2 months )

Sorry - But the typical time from production to deliver is a bit more than 2 months...Just being realistic - not trying to burst your bubble.

The dealer said yesterday mine was on the water and should be here last wk Jan or first wk Feb. He called to let me know they had an unclaimed silver one due 2-3 wks earlier, but I'm definitely going to wait for my cosmic blue. Seems like this has taken forever but it won't be long now...

Man...I had no idea people were waiting this long for their 'speeds. Kinda makes me feel like an ass for bitching about mine taking 2 weeks. For what it's worth though, my dealership was leaving me in the dark and telling me nothing about the delivery date or anything. Kudos to Mazda for not gouging us on the price considering the demand.

It might be worth your while checking to see if any dealerships have one sitting on the lot that you could have transferred to your dealer, or doing a remote purchase. When I bought mine, the dealer was able to source 4-5 speeds on other lots, but none in the color I wanted. When mine arrived it was one of a pair, and the 2nd car sat on the lot for 2 weeks before it sold.

just to make you feel better...I have been waiting for over 3 months...and have at least 3 to go...

just got the call today my new black mica sport is in and even quicker than my dealer said it would be SWEET bad news though I gotta work all week long and cant go pick it up for another week
my time is coming oh yes its coming lol cant wait I want it today
