WTF...ok Great Valley Mazda went out awhile ago, and now Senator Auto Group according to their website is having a going out of business sale. I guess now Auto West will be the only one left in the Sacramento area, but it's that much farther to drive to. Sighs. That one better stay or else I'm stuck going out to the Bay Area (MUCH farther). I was used to short trips to Senator for parts, but now I might just order stuff online and just bring in my car for warranty work only. I do most of my own regular maintenance anyhow.

Anyone know an estimated closure date for Senator? Thanks.

Nevermind, a Biz Journal article that says no closure date is set. Apparently the owner Bob Creedon (age 80) wanted to retire and knew finding a buyer would be very difficult or impossible. So that's that. Sucks that financially the business was fine but other circumstances brought it to an end.
