Hello!
I've found a great deal on a set of RX8 Wheels w/ Tires for my 3, now Ive seen all these pics of people with RX8 wheels on their cars, and I was wonder what modifications do I need to make prior to mounting the wheels on my 3? Do I need to purchase any special parts or anything?

My Car:

2006 3i 2.0L . Stock Suspension.

Yes, put them one and enjoy.

If they are the stock RX-8 tires you will want to replace them with 225/40/18 tires, especially if you're on a lowered suspension. The stock RX-8 tire of 225/45/18 is really too much tire for the 3 so the speedo and gearing will be off a tad. If you're on stock suspension not a big deal, just not ideal.

Exactly... you don't need anything special, just slap them on... you can even re-use your stock lug nuts if you have OEM alloy wheels already. But the tire size is pretty important if you don't want to run into minor problems. You really do want 225/40/18 tires to provide the best performance on a 3 without any issues. The rx-8 225/45/18 tires will cause the speedo to be off a bit, and will definitely rub over bumps during turns or if you're carrying a lot of passengers.
