i was using AF rims

now i just got weds kranze lxz <i think> front 18 and rear 19

the install is getting a little delayed because i cant decide the size of the discs stock rx-7 is 297mm or smth but i will put those discs in the rear and i will use i think 330mm or bigger front discs....

it will take a few days because i have to take the calipers to get them re painted etc.. and i am going to australia for a few days.... abt 2 weeks maybe .... hope i get them done sooner

The fd rotors are 22 mm thick, whereas the 2.3 rotors are 25mm thick, which is a HUGE difference.

The pads are probably not any bigger. You do get 4 fixed pistons, but that is about the only thing.

So I don't really know what you would gain with this swap.

i was being sarcastic. the rotor having less metal is more detrimental to performance than having 2 extra pistons is good because the rotors can now become heat soaked faster. and the master cyl i dont think will be able to move enough fluid fast enough to take full advantage of 4 pistons.

I just finished a conversion on my 04 to MS3 front calipers and rotors which are 320mm and are a direct bolt on with no modifications. Just wanted to let you know incase this fails or becomes non cost effective. But, I would love to see the compatibility of the Rx7's if you can do it, so keep us posted.
