I cried a little when he left our little club :( Hopefully the Doc has better chances at the WS than we do :)

Justice would be the Jays & Phillies meeting in the WS

actually kendrick was sucking until last night but finally had a solid game to get his first win

and halladay best pitcher sure....player eh no....I don't think I would ever consider a pitcher the best player. They just can't help their team night in and night out like other position players.

well see what end of the year stats are but i see Doc wining like 22-25 games this season with an era under 2.50..there def cy-young numbers anyway...plus we have the best overall player in baseball at 2nd base

i dont even know if halladay is the best pitcher in the league so far this season....

:true: but close enough...tied for 2nd in wins...already 2 complete game shutouts and unlike some others now at the top his era likely won't drop much throughout the season. i need to get to a game!!! lol

mets just got swept by the reds, that what i was referring too..should of stated that...i wasnt being serious when i said Utley, hes got more heart then anyone else in the league, but Puhols/Howard/Arod are 1,2,3 (not in order) every year

you can see im a die hard phils fan!

im a tried and true phillies phanatic as well dude... haha

halladay is still an amazing pitcher and i agree by the end of the year i could see him having some gaudy numbers, but as of right now, i think Ubaldo Jimenez and Tim Lincecum are better

and i wont argue utley having the most "heart" or "passion" for the game, the man has played thru some injuries (still at a high level) that others would have gone on the DL and taken their time coming back from... without a doubt hes one of the toughest in the game

It's a shame that the Jays had to let him go but I give them credit for understanding why he wanted out since the Jays know that they are not a contender.
