In the market for some rims. Ive narrowed it down to some rota torques cause theyre affordable and look really nice. I cant decide if I wanna go with the flat black, or yamaha black for my mazda 3 sedan in black mica. If anyone has any advice or pictures id appreciate it. Thanks.

Lol, +1.

I have matte black Rota boosts on my black mica 3 and like them but if I had to do it all over again I would have gone with gloss black.

I like hyper black the best.. but Yamaha black is certainly better than flat.  I just dont get why people like flat colors.. especially on wheels.. it looks like crap, IMO, especially w/o a clearcoat (i.e. DIY flat black wheels).

Oh, and Daniel, you're such a pic whore.. haha..

I agree. Flat black just looks dirty as if they're covered on brake dust.

Hey, I'm not a picture whore! :p I rarely post pics of my.

(because they're all dated. Really need some new ones)

I'll have to agree that gloss is the way to go... especially on a black car. Flat black wheels on a shiny black car doesn't look right...

well if i were to buy tourques, i'd go for bronze or gunmetal but between those 2, i'd go flat black. nobody likes flat black but i think it looks real nice.

I like the finish on my Yamaha stereo equipment...however, I think in this case, the Yamaha black is referring to both their speakers and pianos which are usually done in a gloss black.

I do think that would look pretty good on a black car.
