its used to cover outdoor signs. it is more like a vinyl than a tint.

*txmica3* -- just set the film on the light, push it down in the center to get it to stick and start heating it up and pulling on it.

on the tails i put it on like tint. sprayed soapy water on the lights then laid the film on. while my bro was holding the light and hairdryer i was streching it out and working out the bubbles with the squeege.

ok, thanks jflash. hopefully the beginning of this summer ill get some tint (maybe go in half and half with a few other people so we can all do it at once) and try it. if i still get wrinkles ill pm you later on but thanks for your help!

I have the rb films.. They are probably the best you are going to get with pre-cut tint films... I have red tails with the darker smoked rb film, and the light shines through just fine and dandy.

boostthat3- where did you get your rb tint from and how much was it for the tails?

I got them from www.rockblocker.com and they were $45 or $50 I don't remember. I have a "How To" somewhere to explain how to apply them.
