Looking to add a stealthback exhaust, already have a CPE intake. Would it be worth it to also get it reprogramed? I like the Cobbs reprogramer because you can switch it back to stock anytime.
[/quote] reset the ecu by disconnecting the negative battery terminal , leave it be for 5-10minutes, press the brake pedal just incase there is any stored electricity, reconnect negative battery terminal, enjoy your reprogrammed ECU.
Drive it for 40-50 miles, afterwards, HAUL ASS....Legally.
a custom tune would definitely help...but it is not a necessity...you can run the stealth back with the stock tune just fine
btw, running a custom tune will help with ANY part....intercooler, intake, exhaust....you name it...it will HELP...but to what extent it all depends....if you are fully bolted on a custom tune will help more than just an intake by itself
that doesn't mean you NEED it though
