All you need is to replace the bulbs. The ballasts stay.
Replacing stoch HIDs with aftermarket set?
Did a search and couldn't find anything specific to what I'm looking for. I have a new set of aftermarket HIDs that Id like to install (different color from stock). I'm wondering if it's even possible, yanno before I yank this all apart and find out it's not. Does anyone have any pictures of the light assembly all out of the car or any info?

^^ what devil2k said. Just replace the stock bulbs with DS2 bulbs of whatever color temp. you're looking to get.
