I have a 05 Hatchback Mazda 3. Recently the base for the attenna broke. This is the part that the stuby antenna screws into. So parts of the black plastic chipped off and the spring inside is sticking out.

If I can get the part which part do I need and is this something I can do my self?

How does that antenna attach to the car? I can no longer screw the old antenna in.

Its a lease so I think I have to return it stock

I was cleaning off ice and it the stubby with broom. Wasnt even that hard. I think was already loose. Not my car wife car.
