Will removing the 2.3 badges cause any damage to the paint? Will the paint where the badges were be a different color because of fading? What is the best way to remove the badges? I will be getting my car in June right off of the truck and I will want to remove the badges if they are on the car.

Should have NO problem with the paint as far as it being faded, etc.....

Fishing line or dental floss to remove the badges and "Goo Off" to remove the adhesive residue. No need to worry about fading, the paint isn't that old.

I know you recommended Goof Off, but how safe is it for the paint?

I've never had a problem. Remember you're not applying it to the paint, but the clear coat. I've even used Varsol on the body and I've never had a problem with it either.

Carefully pry it off while protecting the paint. Fading....How long have you had this thing? Use a little cleaner wax, and you'll never know it was there.

I used some bug/tar remover that Armor All makes...took the glue right off
