Has anyone tried to remove the 2.3 badge that were installed at the factory? If so, was it just stuck on or does it have holes once removed?

I would assume it doesn't have holes(not positive) only because they now add them on to the cars that didn't get them and it justs sticks on. I don't think they would make a seperate emblem with pegs for the factory installed ones.

yeah, they're just sticky. use fishing line or floss to get them off, then goo gone for the residue.

Thanks. Are you positive that the new shipments are just stuck on, or are you just assuming because the older shipments have been stuck on? I've got one on order and I bet it will come with the badge but I really don't want the 2.3 badges, but then again I'd rather have the badges than find out there is holes underneath when I try to take them off.

i'm 99% positive there aren't holes since they came without the badges and then they added them later.

I highly doubt that the new badge andt he old ones are different. Think of the cost. I know for sure that the back mazda logo has 2 holes, the mazda has 3 holes, and the 3 has no hole. The front is clipped in with 4 clips.

On a side note: Say you took badges off and you later wanted to put them back on. How hard would it be? What would you use to stick em back on with?

I took the 3 off today after I put on the Axela badge, and I was joking with my girlfriend about what I was going to do with it. I told her I was going to wear it around my neck on a chain...ha ha ha. She said to put it on my key chain. And then I saw Fobby's avatar and decided that's what I'll do (gonna have to drill a hole, of course).

My dealer finally got some 3's in stock that have the 2.3 badges on them. It looks like they are just stuck on (no holes).

haha thanks.. I put the "3" back on my car.. but yea.. that's the 3 from the 2.3.. The 3 off the car is way too shape for my pants.... not good if you fall.... eep....
