So this winter was pretty brutal, which makes me glad I didnt fix things up last year like I originally planned. If all goes as planned, I am putting my MS3 into the shop to get hood repaired from somethiing that was kicked up by a truck, struck it and cracked my windshield. Then there is the dent on the bumper from the pile of snow I drove into that had a huge chunk of ice in the middle. Then add to the all the tiny chips on the fenders and mirrors. So, while all this stuff is getting pulled off the car (or at least the bumper and hood) anything else I shoudl do mod wise? Already planning on doing the hella duel tones. TIA.

I would but lowering or adding anything that would be lower that the normal bumper would not be practical for my occasional dirt road rides. Thinking about a clear bra but not so shure if it can be done so soon after painting.

Or just do nothing, save the money and call it a day. it's only a car and other cars will come along.

If they dry the car in a heated booth you can do it pretty soon after. If they air dry, wait a month at least, maybe two.

You will have to wait about two weeks but I would go with a clear bra. Biggest regret I have is not getting one when I had the chance and now I'm looking to redo my front bumper...AGAIN. Get the clear bra, from the sounds of the driving I'd say it would be a good investment.

Yeah, we have a booth but not sure if our mechanic has ever done a clear bra (probably not.) With the amount of highway mileage I do, I dont see me lasting months before it would be too late.

It takes a feel to install. Lots of heat and time.
