i have a pair of alpine sps-600c's and they're rated at 80w rms

i need a good reliable amp to power these and not kill them, so far it's been hard finding the right amp cause everything i find is either too much power, or too little power
and when i find an amp, i can never find any reviews on it
for instance, phoenix golds, can't find anything about them!

help!!

You do not have to match the RMS output on the speakers to the amp because with the gains on the amp you can set them lower which will send less power to the speakers.

I have a rockford fosgate P200-2 which is rated at 75 to 80 watss each channel that would work for you. It's up for sale on here for $75. I was running my Morel Piccolo's (Very high end tweeter) with it and it worked great.

Polk make nice amps for their price, Boston are also good, but really I'd be looking at Tru Technology, Arc Audio and Zapco.
