Rear spoiler, to have or not to have...

I definately like the rear spoiler I have on mine. Gives it a more sporty look. I am with you on the lip spoiler as well.

I just ebayed one for $120 shipping included to Canada (painted)

The guy had a lot of +ve feedback and all he sells is spoilers, so I hope that I will be pleased with it.

I will post here to let everyone know the quality of it... but to pay $120 with shipping over the $300 or so to get it from the dealership is a pretty good deal if its a decent spoiler!

But yeah, the spoiler is a definite must have

I said maybe. I'm struggling with this one myself. I like the look of the OEM wing spoiler. However, I've test driven a 3 with one and it (wing spoiler) really does block the view out the rear window.

That said, I still think it makes the 3 somewhat sportier looking.

yeah it blocks off a little..nothing major tho that would harm ur viewing..i actually like being able to see it thru the rearview mirror..makes me feel cool......lol yeh i said it! :smokin:

I like me a lip spoiler but I HATE, HATE, HATE the OEM Mazda one. I haven't found another that looks exactly like I want so right now I'm undecided about it.

I never would have thought about it blocking the view. I don't think I would mind having it there, but I'll be sure to test drive one with and without now. As for the lip, I've seen the lip on other models but just don't like it on the 3.

I have the OEM wing and it looks really cute and sporty but the lip spoiler just looks so CLEAN!!

I'll be getting the lip spoiler. Hopefully at some point this summer.

I love the look of a spoiler on the 3, the only thing that I am worried about is that if you arent taping the wing on, then you are drilling holes into your trunk, and that means that there is another potential rusting location in the future.

in a hatch it is a must,, in the case of the sedan, i prefer the lip spoiler...

Nice spoiler. Lately the oem wing spoiler has been growing on me. i think im gonna get one one of these days too. sigh cosmetics whims. I dunno it adds an intangible element to the sedan.

I know, the back looks so bland without something there. I need to get one. The dealer didn't have a goodd 2.3 sedan with one on at the time.
