Hopefully this is the right forum. I'm looking for a step-guard for the rear bumper of a 3 sedan. It's my girlfriend's car and she tends to put her feet up there to change her shoes, so it would be nice to have some protection for the paint. Anyone have any recommendations?

I didn't realize there were step plates for the sedan. I thought they were only for the hatch. Alternatively, you could tell her to stop doing that!

i see no reasons why they couldn't be installed, if they fit okay and don't look funny...another alternative would be a small piece of clearbra film in the right spot(s).

Bummer that the hatch ones won't fit -- although I kind of assumed they wouldn't. Hadn't thought of the clearbra stuff. I'm holding out hope that I'll be able to find something durable that fits nicely but if worse comes to worse then some kind of film will have to do.

Telling her not to do it isn't really an option :)

The clearbra that we sell is EXTREMELY durable and her feet won't go through it.

It would be about $25 for enough to cover the entire flat part of the rear bumper.

email me if you are interested.
