I went to test drive the MZ3 today. I test drove a black 5-speed 3s with Nav, Xenon, Moonroof & 6 CD, ABS. But the interior pics are of a silver HB with the same options auto and leather :D . The car feels like it has no torque but it was still fun to drive, and I am no longer getting the Nav after playing with it a little. The dealer quoted me invoice, and they really weren't willing to budge (selling too many at that price I guess). Thank goodness there are 4 other dealers within 30 miles. Here are some pics my friend took while we were there. Feel free to ask any questions about my trip.

You said that they were quoting invoice, and you weren't happy with that. Do you mean they were quoting MSRP, because if they were offering the car at invoice I would take that in a heartbeat. BTW, nice pics!

Sorry about the typo, you're right they were quoting MSRP, and the sales guy added an extra $400 when I asked him to write it down for me to go :? . Funny!

Edmunds/bidding for YOUR car

If you have so many Mazda dealers close by, then go to the many internet sites (ie. Edmunds) where you can build your M3 and then send the specs to the area dealers (in fact they list your area dealers by the zip code you input). Then just sit back and wait for the e-mail bids to come in. Then if one is lower but you like another dealer, just ask if they will come down to that bid.

I did exactly that when my mom bought her Subaru Outback Sport in September. It was quick, easy, and a couple days later she had her car for about $200 over invoice. We had 3 bids within 24 hours, and chose from them.
