It would not be in Mazda's best interest to install radar detectors in every car, or make them an option.

It would be like Mazda NA was encouraging drivers to speed. AND the cops would start targeting every new Mazda that they saw. Not a good idea.

^^ Yeah I had mine hard wired above the mirror in the dimpled area. It was up there for a good 5 months. Until it got super cold and my suction cups wouldn't hold it there any more. I should build a bracket to slide up under the head liner and bolt into the roof but my detector is dying... I'm just going to wait for tax time. V1 here I come.

The reason why I put that Mazda wouldn't do this is the fact that this is a "Suggestions for Mazda" thread.
