this may be a dumb question... but:

I was wondering, can a 2.3L use the same CAI as a 2.0L?
and does it matter if they are different year models?

Are you sure they work the same for differnt makes?
...Because I asked the same question on another forum, and got a differnet answer.
the CAI I would buy is from a 2.0L manual, and I would put it in my 2.3L automatic... I need to be 100% positive that I can or cant before I buy it. (obviously...)

depends what intake it is. there is 1 or 2 that won't work because of atx or mtx. model year and engine doesn't matter. the only big difference between the 2.0 and 2.3 is the block.

let us know what intake it is and we can tell you for sure.

the only difference between the 2.0 and 2.3 is the internals in the shortblock. the tranny matters on some intakes since it's the way it was designed. i believe it's the injen and the early f2 intake. the f2 has been redesigned to fit around both the atx and mtx.
