Just purchased a 4 ch amp. 2 channels go to the fronts, 2 channels bridged for the sub. The front speaker wiring will go to a LOC and then to the front channel of amp. What do I wire the 2 bridged channels to. Also, where does the remote wire from the amp go to?

If I'm not mistaken you need a 4 channel LOC since you are technically using all 4 channels. (2 for front, 2 bridged for sub). For my vehicle (MS3) the remote I used is the blue wire coiming from back of HU.

If your amp has a built in LOC, check the amp specs. most times when you use a built in LOC, you don't need to run a remote wire...It draws the signal from the speaker wires and uses that as the remote.

Whether you have a built in LOC or an external, your rear signal is tapped from the rear speakers...Most find it easiest to tap the speaker wires directly behind the audio deck.

it depends on the amp, some amps will have a switch on the rear channels to tell it where to pull signal, or a mode switch for the amp (2/3 channel mode or 4ch mode). Most nicer amps will have this switch. If it does not just get a pair of rca splitters and use them to send signal to both the front and rear channels.

If you get a 4channel LOC you can hook the rear channels to the rear speakers and then use the fader on your HU as a sub level control, which is always nice.

The remote wire needs to go to a wire in the car that shows 12v when the car is in acc mode, usually to the radio switched acc wire, or the cig lighter wire.

well, what kinda amp do you have? the only downfall about using the speaker level in's on the amp is running all that speaker wire!!!!! if ya want my advice, id say spend a little extra cash and get a hu that has all your outputs on it....you will be alot happier with the sound and the option of having a true sub control..
