I just want to make sure that I am right on this and am hoping that someone can tell me for sure. Is it possible to use a bose HU in a car that does not have a bose audio system? I'm not sure what the major difference is but I am pretty sure that it isn't possible. Any help?

What car is it coming from and going into?
Bose Audio systems can be quite different in model, amp, speakers, controls, wires, everything. So pulling one out and installing into another car would basically mean you would need to remove the whole system, not including ALL the speakers though.
Cant really tell much else.

I'm just trying to swap out Head Units with a guy who says he has one coming out of a 6disc audio system. I want to replace mine with a 6disc changer, but I don't have the bose system at all. It's just the stock one. So, am I able to just swap out the HU??
