I had a 99 SLT+ myself. Loved that thing. Beat the hell out of it for 3 years and the only thing that broke was the power steering pump.

my old neighbor had one (two actually due to a wreck... then his son got one.. or maybe two i forget :lol
and i was VERY impressed by them. i would actually consider finding an old one and fixing it up as a daily.
good riddance to the pt though, too strange to be a consumer car, too hideous to be a rental car. lol
