My 2.3L Mazda3 has only 60Ks on it and when I start it there are some rough vibrations for about 2 seconds as it starts.
Is this normal?
thanks

If you mean that once the engine is fired up and running, the first 2 seconds you get rough vibrations then no it's not normal. Tough to say without actually being beside your vehicle but in doubt you should go to the dealer.
rough start

take it to the dealer and tell them that you want the fuel pump checked or the whole system
i had the same problem and had to take it to them twice before they noticed there was a problem they had the car for a whole week and a half
its been at the dealer twice for the same problem one more and i get a new one>
also my power stiring is making noises that are not normal
have to take it for that too
You could take it to the dealer, but I imagine your warranty is up. I would try a new tank of gas from a different place. You may have a little water or impurities in the system. Fuel injectors may be gunked up. Maybe try some injector cleaner with the next tank. Plugs may be wearing. Air filter could be dirty. It could be alot of things. This is where I would start, then if none of those seemed to be it I would call the dealer. But there's nothing wrong with just taking it in if you don't want to bother with troubleshooting.
I think when ready... said he has "60Ks", he has only 60 kilometers, not 60,000

It does not happen after the car starts but while it first fires up then smooths out.

Read the last page, that's where I post. I wonder if that's the situation you're having. Reply on that post and tell me your build date on that post too if it's possible. :)
