So I recently hit a curb, but missed a deer. asked the dealer how much A new snowflake(1) wheel would cost. He said 500 bucks. does this sound right? As soon as he said that I almost punched him in the head.
If you're not absolutely set on a factory wheel, try someone like Keystone for an OEM refurbished or replica. They will probably require a core but I'd imagine is about half the price.
When I was looking to buy, I kept looking around for other wheels (sorry, I despise the snowflake ... but just my opinion) in case I got an 08 or later. All of the Mazda3 sites had alot of ads for snowflake wheels ... try to check those. You may find someone who will part with a wheel separately. If that fails you can take the above advice about OEM replicas.
