While at AAP to pick up this, I noticed they had PP with this sale. ~$3 a bottle, so not like those $1.50-$2/bottle rebate deals... but... no rebates :) I bought 10 qts, heh.

Damn, that's awesome! I better go stock on some more!
Thanks for the tip! I was getting sick of paying $6 a qt for M1...
Damn I wished I lived in the east coast. There is no Adv. Auto Parts in the west coast.
Seems like PP is on sale every other week, i wonder if they have a hard time selling it :chuckles:
^Good point; could be.
I was there last weekend and picked up two quarts on sale. My local store always seems to have a ton of 10W-30 but almost never has 5W-20, so I'll take when I can get. They also had all Bosch and Trico wiper blades 25% off, so the Bosch Icons I picked up were cheaper there than Amazon.com.
I think i need wipers already...
Icons? is that a premier stage wiper from Bosch or?

I'm not quite sure what you mean "premier stage wiper", but I believe they're Bosch's top-of-the-line single-piece (bracketless) wiper. I haven't had them on long, but I'm pretty impressed with them so far.
i meant like....

i model
s model
gt model
haha
I can't resist a good deal on oil, especially Platinum. I picked up 16 more quarts last night (orignally, had 60+ qts.). (I do oil changes on our two cars plus our extended family's cars so I go through a lot).
Thanks for the headsup....I just bought out my local AAP, got 18 qts.

Mobil1 is only $22 for a 5 qt jug at walk mart. Available in 5w-20.

That's only $4.40 a quart which ain't bad at all.

Penzoil Platinum is $4 a quart and usually doesn't have that large of a stock.

This is why I end up with M1 5w-20.

Either that... I just go synlube lube4life! bwahahaha
i wonder if wallys has 5-30 in a jug
They always do when I go there. I've never had any trouble finding PP 5w20 or any other grade.
Can this oil be used for first time oil change? I heard synthetic isn't very good for the new engine, but I don't exactly see the reason. Seeing that it is good price for synthetic oil, I will consider this because I would otherwise go with regular oil. I also have lots of other questions, but I have created a thread, so please check it out and answer it if you have time. Thanks.

There are a number of threads on this already, but synthetic should be fine for the first oil change.

You can switch to synthetic at anytime. No worries!
Thanks Bearda and Mshu! Now I have even more choices on oil than I originally thought, which is good.
Anytime! ;)
