Thoughts on putting in a powered subwoofer with the existing stock stereo? What brand, size, placement would be best? I don't want my car to shake and rattle, but just sound fuller when in the cabin.
Well they used to sound good. Dont know about now.johnjohn said:"Bazooka tube"
are u on crack?
those are the most pathetic sounding pieces of "poo" u can get on the market.. it's like even crappier than the pioneer "subwoofer system" on the new scions..
Not all in one, but in a CRX once, the Wall was ported underneath both seats. It was like 40" of port lol.johnjohn said:on a side note.. has anyone installed a similar setup (i.e. subwoofer+amp all in one units) under the passenger seat?.. ?
Sweet. Back when I was in the business, I never really installed powered subwoofers. They were generally too expensive, or underpowered.Loaded3 said:In my current (soon to be old) car, I installed an Infinity Basslink... Its so easy to install, and its pretty compact, you can mount it upright in the corner and you still have a lot of trunk space... The 3 has a lot more trunk space than a 200SX so space is really not an issue with the basslink... and it also comes with a cool little volume remote that you can install in the dash...
$21,655 out the door...VraiDiouf said:Hey Loaded03 how much did you pay for your 3?
Those suck ass! I did one in a Honda Accord and the customer was like "WTF, cant even hear it... let along feel it".bluntman said:You think the Bazookas are pathetic, I used to have a Pioneer spare tire sub in my 91 Acura Integra coupe.
