About a month ago my 07 2.0 threw the common c1099 code...loss of power steering assist.
Although my car didn't fall under the recall, I had the recall service performed, which is supposed to remedy the issue. Bulletin no: 06-002/09
New lines, new pump and new fluid were all put in the car.
Problem now the car is still losing power steering assist and the indicator light is on.
Not sure what to do now. Everything available for the problem points to the work I have already had done!
Any ideas on what's gong on?
