What ive read and heard from a professional PC is that if you can avoid sandblasting. Please do. Sandblasting tends to leave pits on the surface leaving the surface rough and in need of more attention. I met a professional body restorer as well and he introduced me to baking soda blasting. Soda blasting IMO the safest and greenest way to rid any surface of paint and primer. I felt the surface of a vehicle after being soda blasted and I was amazed how smooth the surface got.
