What ive read and heard from a professional PC is that if you can avoid sandblasting. Please do. Sandblasting tends to leave pits on the surface leaving the surface rough and in need of more attention. I met a professional body restorer as well and he introduced me to baking soda blasting. Soda blasting IMO the safest and greenest way to rid any surface of paint and primer. I felt the surface of a vehicle after being soda blasted and I was amazed how smooth the surface got.

The results you have are awesome! Do you have a step by step for the repair process posted? How much did it cost you to repair all 4?

It didnt cost me anything to repair the wheels because I did it myself.

No step by step sorry. I took a few ideas from different members and took it upon myself to put all together. just basic sanding and actually some dremling down the deepest of rash. No, i didnt dremel a dip on the wheel. I actually used it to dremel a section where the rash is the worst and sanded down the places where it wasnt as bad. As for cost, all together it cost me about $80-$100. This was my first time and im not the best when it comes to patience, but thats one thing you cant buy is patience. Take your time my friend and you will be pleased with the results.

I did most of the work at night and I shouldnt have because I left a few spots not sprayed enough with the paint, but its barely noticible. Patience is your friend here and take your time.

Just search for DIY paint your wheels or go here..
