I know it been asked in other topics but no one has answered it yet? What is the freaking point of the air intake tube that sits on top of the airbox leading to the battery cover? and isnt a short ram intake from the p5 or 6 compatible with the 3 just for now?

Battery will produce a very small amount of hydrogen, the battery intake is to provide a "breathing" channel so hydrogen won't accumulate and cause explosion...

You can take out the battery intake but please make sure the battery cover is off as well.
thank you very much for clearing that up. appreciated
It's also there to help keep the battery cool under load since it's closed up in the box.
