hey guys, I just purchased a mazdaspeed shift knob from TEXNTHREE and absolutely love it. only problem is, I hate the shift gate so i want to replace it with a boot. i was wondering if somebody could maybe take a few pictures of the ring that holds the oem boot down .I just want to see how it works so I can figure out how to make it work. I've already removed the autostick shift gate.
some pictures would be extremely helpful. and if anybody has a oem boot they wanna sell, let me know. preferably black with red stitching.

Is this ^ plastic thing the same or similar to the plastic piece that holds the oem boot in place? once again, pics would do wonders. thanks
