Ever since I got engaged I started modding my fiancee's Mazda3 (its sorta mine since I'm paying for it now LOL). Its an auto 2006 S. I dropped it on Progress springs, swapped out the stock 16s for RX8 wheels, and added OEM side skirts (this weekend. what a pain to install).

I'd like to do more to it, but I have to keep it civilzed and low cost. Within a few days of putting on the RX8 wheels, she curb-checked one of them. At 5,000 miles of ownership she rear-ended a Chevy pickup (whole new front needed, luckily no frame damage), while putting on her make-up. :bash:

I was going to ask the same thing since I saw you said you had some difficulty putting them on.

to install the skirts you need to drill 11 holes (on each side) into the sheet metal. the paper templates that come with the sideskirts are not that great and leave room for error. if you make the holes too big or misaligned, then the skirts wont clip on. most of my time was spent checking and rechecking my measurements. took me alittle less than 2 hours each side, but i'm sure you can do it much faster if you ghetto-rig it LOL.

btw my wheels are SSR Professors not Work Meisters. people get them confused all the time, which is good i guess since Works are more expensive LOL.

edited for grammar and spelling
