So today I was driving and I heard a clank and turn around to see if I ran over something and noticed this piece of metal. No clue what it is but it came from my car it even has the Mazda logo. If anyone knows what it is please help identify this part

It looks like some type of counter weight. I would start your search in the rear suspension, and look carefully for something with two bolt holes spaced the same distance as these, and likely with missing bolts.

I believe it's part of the assembly under the battery box.
