hello everyone i need some help here. i was trying to change my license plate bulb with a blue LED bulb and at first it was good and for some reason it went out and the next thing i know my parklights front and back on the RIGHT side went out too...the left parklights front and back are both good. do you think its fuse problem? coz when i turn the signal on to the right, bulbs are wroking perfectly... i was trying to locate the fuse box on the passenger side but couldnt find it. where is it located exactly? im not sure now if its the fuse or the bulbs. pls help!

The fuse box is down under the globe box. There is a little panel you have to lower to access it.

First, try switching the bulbs left to right to confirm if its the actual bulbs that blew. Then check your fuses.

Since the turn signal works I would say the fuse is fine. It's probably the filament for the parking light went out. These bulbs have two, one filament for the turn signal, another for the parking light.

Is it the license plate bulb or LED that isn't working?

It is odd they went out in that order. I'm not saying it's the fuse but I would try switching out the turn signal from the other side. if the left won't work on the right then you know it's a fuse or some other issue.

Hopefully it's just the fuse as that's an easy fix.

i just found out i blew the fuse for my taillight and license plate bulb. and i tried to get same fuse with the same amp on my fuse box and put on my RH tail light and went on perfectly but my problem now is i think my socket for my bulb on the licence plate is busted. i have to push the bulb really hard to go on and if i let go it goes off... i have to use a multimeter and check it out but in case my socket is busted where can i find a replacement? anyone here online where i can check it out?

I think all you have to do is get something and pry up the contact in the license plate socket because its not making contact with the bulb. ( which is why you have to push to make it work) And you probably want to disconnect the battery while you're at it, not sure if it could shock you or not.

Bring it to the dealer. The fuse is blown. I got mine fixed in less than 15 minutes. Its free if its under warranty.

i still should go to the dealer but as i said the fuse for the park light (RH) and license plate light are the same. park lights are working now when i changed the blown fuse.
