Hey guys i searched about for this and didnt see anyone that has put an outerwear on the bomz filter and was wondering how bad the filter really was. Is it even worth putting an outerwear on that? Does anyone know the size of the filter or what size i should replace it with(was thinking about going with a AEM dryflow). Ebay page says nothing on size of filter or piping.

Thanks for the Help Nick

The quality is good. Whether or not you need is really a personal choice. An outwear filter isn't going to do much to prevent hydrolock but it will help repel small amounts of water. If you have the money i'd get it just for that little piece of mind.

I live in TX were when it rains it POURS, when it's hot its HOT.
I've gone through puddles, washed my car, wheels, and underbelly and no cells ever!
I have the F5 Fujita CAI BTW
BUT if you have the extra 20, and want to blow it get the Outerwear.

All you need to know to get a replacement filter is the piping diameter... is it 2.5" like most intakes for the 3?
