For Canadian market, the Mazda3 4-door Sedan is available in three trims (GX, GS, and GT). The Hatchback 5-door is called Mazda3 Sport and is available only in two upper trims (GS and GT).

Speed limiter: 188km/h for 2.0L engine, N/A for 2.3L
No HID's, no tire-pressure sensors, no automatic-climate controls
GX/GS cloth: interior is either black or beige, dependant on exterior colour
GT cloth: interior is either 2-tone black/blue (BP5) or black/red (BP6), dependant on exterior colour
GT leather is black
Coefficient of drag:
- .320 for 15-inch wheel versions
- .331 for 16-inch wheel versions
- .332 for 17-inch wheel versions

The Canadian Mazda mentions an electronic throttle for linear engine response to accelerator-pedal input. I'm not certain if all trims are equipped with.

For US market, the Mazda3 is available in two trims (Mazda3i and Mazda3s) and two body styles: Sedans 4-doors and Hatchback 5-doors. The Hatchback is only available in "s" version. The warranty is 4 years or 50000 miles whatever comes first.

Auto lights and wipers

Besides the fact that the automatic light system judges the brightness around comprehensively with two sensors which perceive the luminous intensity of the front and the upper part, automatically lights up & goes out with precise timing in such as the entrance exit of the tunnel, needless operation is decreased.

As for the sensor wiper, wiper speed is adjusted automatically from stopped state to high speed according to rainfall.
