I put splashguards on the front within days of getting the car.  I couldn't stand hearing all the gravel hitting the side of the car.

I had to do some trimming to the splashguards as I didn't want the side of the bottom molding covered poorly and have sand get trapped.  The splashguards are available at Canadian Tire or Autozone - Power Flow Pro Fit #1, about $15/each if I recall.

NOTE: The link shows Pro-Fit #4 which is similar to #1, but you need #1

So you are the Canadian who bought the Silver Speed3 in the U.S. and put Mazda6 rims in it? There cannot be more than one of you out there. That's funny.

I wonder how the splash guards impact drag if at all.

Yeah, that's me. You spent quite a bit of time on the Mazda Canada Forums, right? I read up your reviews when you first got your MS3. Funny, I called a dealership here in Calgary and booked my car in for some service and when he was jotting down the info he says "o.k. 2007 Mazdaspeed3, one of the red ones.." and I say "No, not red." and he says "Oh, you're the guy with the silver American one." Kinda have a following already. :)

Maybe I should rent time in a wind tunnel to check out the drag?
