I have a question for everyone here. I noticed in the faq's and the stickied threads no mention of negative offset ( I think?). Does this mean that putting a rim with a nice lip on it is ot good on the 3's? And am I correct in thinking that negative offset= big rim lip?.....

-ve offset on a 3 means your car is in hill-billy mode, with the most of the tire sticking out of the fender.

lol @ hillbilly mode. so then can you have a lip on a positive offset rim? what the lowest "safe" offset to avoid butchering the wheel bearings on the 3s?
