WOW thats a killer price! What did they say after you emailed them?

I was offered a 2009 MS3 GT for 23600 OTD (no options) or 23900 OTD (with homelink/autodim/compass mirrors) what do you think? I would love a deal like yours... lol

nothing, that was their answer after I requested a quote, they had to GTs but they are Black Mica, and was looking for CWP... but black mica is my second choice... but now I got into a car accident so im waiting to get my car back to see what I can do

and about your price, just think if those $300 are worth it for those 3 things and if you will use it...

It's something I can live without... yeah. But it might be something that will make the car worth a bit more if i sell it...

23600 OTD is about 22150 before tax... give or take a few bucks. Too bad I don't live in Florida.

I'll probably just get the car with the mirror...

lol idk if is something in FL... they give my the price as "internet price" so I have to make an appointment with them so they can give me that price... and I think I will wait for the 2010 just to see it
[/quote]

I contacted them and they said that is the lowest they will go. lol it's not worth it for me because I live in TX. The flight there + driving back or transportation cost of getting it here... is about the same as my local price.

I have an update tho:

Found a true red MS3 GT for 22455 + tll = 24095 - 500 free gas card = $23,595 OTD. This one has 50 miles on it.

So far its between these two.

True Red with 50 miles for $23,595 (240 miles to get it)
Gray with 282 miles for $23,900 (local)

It comes to about the same price when you figure in the cost of gas to go to get it. True Red probably cost about 100-150 less overall with less miles.

Yep... I was moving toward Grey however it has 280 while red only has 50. Truthfully, I could care less about color. Not sure why but I don't really have a preference beside no black.

I'm still considering both possibility but you're right... the true red might catch a lot of attention especially from cops.

Yeah my houston one with Gray is off the list now since they wanted 500 more on top of that so I just left.

So it seems like my MS3 will come from Dallas.

So far the main one i'm looking at is a red 09 GT with auto-dimming/compass/homelink mirror and 50 miles for 22455 + TTL = 24095 driveout - (500 dollar gas card) = 23595 (lowest price he can do)

or

2008 GT (apparently fully loaded - nav) and 340 miles for 20,977 plus ttl which = 22,750 driveout (much more room to negotiate since this was his first offer)

Is going for a 08 worth it? I'm thinking not since being 09 will definitely help the re-sale value later on... unless I get a crazy deal on the 08. What would be the best deal for an 08 GT at this point and time? What are the rebates on 08 MS3? What do you suggest me counter offer with?

I need to correct a post I made earlier. :(

My better half has informed me the 22,4xx was not the price we paid, it was 23,4xx my bad.

Sorry for any confusion. I will say that it was the best deal around at the time in the bay Area that I could find. This after contacting 4 additional dealers. Got mine at Fremont Ford/Mazda, now that Magnussen no longer owns/runs the dealership.

Was treated great, and was not pressured one bit, not even after the test drive. In fact I did the test drive talked money, was given an offer then left did more research came back the next day the offer still stood, bought the car.

Just bought mine the other day. 09 GT manhatten gray, 100+ miles on it. 22,900 after the $500 rebate. Bought the 5 year max warranty for $1,600 though I don't know if that's a good deal or not... but I talked him down twice to that price.

I got a full detail, full tank of premium gas and tinted windows thrown in to that deal.

Yes the APR's are sucking.. I had though they were better now guess not. Got my 09 MS3 in Dec 08 and with all the folks defaulting on car loans back then all I could find was 6.0, then Mazda offered me 5.7, not much better.. Makes a 23.5 K car have a 500 $ car payment...

I like that price for the loaded 08. I don't need nav, but 22.8 is a good price OTD
