Quick question:

Anyone know what the stock 17" rim weighs, and what the RS-A's weigh? Post up, thanks in advance.

according to tire rack the tire weighs 23 pounds in 205/50 17.

Yeah, I just thought about checking the site, and saw that as well. Anyone know about the rim weight?

depends on which style OEM rim from what I've read, take a pic of the back of the wheel and I can tell you what I know from having read up about it. . .

theres a good thread about it somewhere, there are actually 3 different castings of OEM 17's. . . som as light as 19.4 lbs, some as heavy as 22.1

I remember that thread, but don't remember where it was (at least how to find it).

Does it help to state that I've got an 06?

not really, although I'm guessing you don't have the light ones, the 19.4 lbers seemed to be all '04s or '05s.

True. Well, I'll be putting the new ones on when they come in a few days, so I'll try to get 'em on a scale and see what it tells me
