Hey guys, hopefully you can help me figure out what is going on...here's the situation...
When I am slowly approaching a red light and get down to about 10mph or lower, my steering wheel seems to take control of itself and starts to turn the car either left or right. If I didn't hold it steady it would turn the wheel probably 90 degrees or more left or right. I wouldn't say I have to use considerable force to keep it centered, but it does require me to hold the wheel tight so the car does not turn on its own.
My car seems to travel straight when I'm driving regularly and does not veer to one side or the other on the highway. But it just seems whenever I'm using the brakes to come to a complete stop something is causing the wheel to turn on its own.
Any idea what it might be?
