what is the difference between mags and alloy wheels?
does mags=magnesium?

are mags better?
and does this affect performance in anyway?

As I know, a MAG is a diminutive of Magasine. The fact is that we (french canadian) calls them MAGS instead of "jentes en alliage", which is exactly the same thing.

The difference is not between a Mag and an Alloy Wheel, but between an Alloy Wheel and a Rim.

Mag stands for magnesium, not to be confused with magnesia... which is where you noobs will have to google to figure out that "milk of magnesia" comes from greek women.
