New TWM Type r shift knob-flat black

Sup, I just installed this. Can anyone give me any advice on how to make the boot sit nice up with the knob. The washer is still there, and as you can tell it looks really bad. Im gonna fix it as soon as I figure out what I need to do to make it look nice. Thanks!

Go to Home Depot or Lowes and find a washer that is the same size as the base of the shift knob, then replace the OEM piece.

did you have any washers that came with the knob? It looks like you got the shift boot too.

This thread here says the instructions that were included mention switching out the washers for the ones provided

Thanks man. I had the STS installed way before I purchased the shift knob so ill have to find them again. lol
